Loving Jesus.
Loving Gladstone.
A local church committed to both
"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" - Jesus

Join us this Sunday
Every Sunday morning, we gather together as a church for our weekly worship service at Gladstone at 10am.

In our Sunday service, we will pray to God, read the Bible together, and sing worship songs together. We'll also have short age, appropriate message for children and a children's worship song. Finally, a big part of our service is the Bible talk or sermon, where we learn about God and the good news of his Son, Jesus Christ.

Afterwards, we enjoy morning tea and catch up with each other. Once a month, normally on the third Sunday, we share the Lord's Supper during the service, and also share a lunch together after the service.

If you can't make it in person, or want to listen to the Bible talk again, you can watch our Livestreams on Youtube.
Growing Together in Jesus
If you're thinking about visiting our church, or want to know more about Jesus, we'd love to hear from you. You can get in touch via our Contact Form. If you visit on a Sunday, a member of our welcome team will make sure you feel welcomed.

The first part of growing together in Jesus is becoming a part of our church. During our monthly lunch, one of our elders will talk to you about who we are, what we believe, and what it means to be a member of our church.

The second part of growing together in Jesus is connecting both on a Sunday and throughout the week with other Christians to deepen our relationship with Jesus. We have bible study groups that meet together each week, along with a youth group for high school age children. We also have a prayer meeting every Sunday before church.

The third part of growing together in Jesus is serving Him in the local church. God has provided His people with all the gifts that are needed to build His church. We are a small church – so we strongly rely on God’s providence of the right people with the right gifts to grow our ministry as a church. We want to see every member who is able to serving regularly.

Who We Are
We're a church that has been meeting together for over a 150 years, when Scottish migrants to Gladstone gathered for worship in the 1860s.

We are a church in the reformed and presbyterian traditions. The Bible, which is the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments is our supreme standard. The subordinate standard of the church is the Westminster Confession of Faith, which describes our understanding of the Bible.
We are part of the Central Queensland Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland.

Minister
Being Called

Gladstone is currently in the process of calling a new minister. Andrew Poyser, Minister at RockyPC, is serving as our Interim Moderator, providing essential ministry leadership.

Ben O'Brien
Elder & Session Clerk

Ben has been a member at Gladstone since 2016 and an elder since 2020. He is married to Dacey and has three children Braedon, Patrick & Charlotte. Ben loves Jesus, and loves seeing people grow in maturity in Christ in the local church.
Ben works as a business improvement consultant for a mining company, and for fun, runs a commercial distillery in his spare time.
